Job Title: Senior Equity Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced equity leader to join our team.

Job Description:

The Senior Equity Leader will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the business strategy for the Equities division. This includes managing daily operations of equity trading, research, and investment teams, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements in equity operations, building and maintaining strong client and institutional relationships, inspiring and motivating the equities team to deliver superior results, driving innovation in research methodologies, portfolio strategies, and market approaches, interpreting, analyzing, and presenting sales, trading, and financial performance data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop effective marketing and product positioning strategies, and maintaining profitability and maximizing return on capital employed (ROCE).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in equity markets, trading strategies, and portfolio management.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and equity research.
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial data interpretation, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Ability to develop innovative equity products and go-to-market strategies.
  • Client-centric approach with strong relationship management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain the business strategy for the Equities division.
  2. Manage daily operations of equity trading, research, and investment teams.
  3. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in equity operations.
  4. Build and maintain strong client and institutional relationships.
  5. Inspire, motivate, and lead the equities team to deliver superior results.
  6. Drive innovation in research methodologies, portfolio strategies, and market approaches.
  7. Interpret, analyze, and present sales, trading, and financial performance data.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective marketing and product positioning strategies.
  9. Maintain profitability and maximize return on capital employed (ROCE).

Professional Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in equity markets, trading strategies, and portfolio management.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.
