
Customer Experience Strategist

Amazon is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to support its Customer Experience and Business Trends team.
The ideal candidate will have experience building financial and operational reports, analyzing key performance indicators, and using data to inform business decisions. They will be responsible for discovering global industry trends, performing in-depth analysis of financial and business performance data, and translating complex business problems into actionable requirements.
The successful candidate will also have strong communication skills, with the ability to summarize and communicate important data insights to senior leaders and multiple stakeholders. They will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment and be self-driven with the capability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams.
Our team is made up of diverse professionals with various skill sets and backgrounds, including Product Managers, Software Developers, Data Scientists, and Business Analysts. We use technical and non-technical approaches to solve customer needs and work backwards from there.
Key Responsibilities:
- Discover, track, and evaluate global industry trends
- Perform in-depth analysis of financial and other business performance data
- Translate complex or ambiguous business problem statements into analysis requirements
- Partner with various finance verticals to ensure procedures and controls are routinely applied
- Develop processes, reports, or tools that can scale, automate, or improve financial insights
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
- Experience summarizing and communicating important data
