Business Development Manager Position

This exciting opportunity is for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our company's dynamic team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through the development of strategic partnerships, identifying new market opportunities, and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.

  • Sales Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by engaging prospects via cold calls, networking, industry events, and referrals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure effective onboarding and service execution.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and Develop Opportunities: Utilize industry insights and market research to identify potential business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  2. Pursue New Business Prospects: Develop and execute plans to pursue new business prospects in the Commodities/Industry sector, including e-commerce firms, technology manufacturers, retailers, and distributors.
  3. Market Research & Strategy: Conduct in-depth research on customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to craft tailored business development strategies.
  4. Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate pricing and contract terms that balance profitability with client satisfaction and market competitiveness.
Qualifications & Competencies:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven Sales Track Record: A proven track record of success in driving business growth and meeting/exceeding sales targets in logistics or related industries.
  • Strong Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Commodities/Industry sector, including supply chain needs and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify and present complex logistics solutions.
