Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced support professional to join our team on a 12-month contract basis, with the possibility of extension.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in application and production support, with expertise in high-availability environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced support for enterprise applications in production, leveraging Linux/Unix, WebLogic, and Oracle skills.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple platforms, including Linux/Unix, WebLogic, and Oracle environments.
  • Monitor application and system health, respond to incidents and outages, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployments, fixes, and upgrades.
  • Drive root cause analysis and improve system stability through automation scripting and knowledge base documentation.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of experience in application/production support roles.
  • Strong command-line skills in Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
  • Proven experience with Oracle DB (SQL, tuning, troubleshooting).
  • Hands-on experience with WebLogic Application Server.
  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, Nagios, OEM).
  • Knowledge of incident and change management best practices (ITIL).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with job schedulers (e.g., Autosys, Control-M).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (AWS/OCI), or containerization.
  • Scripting experience beyond shell (Python/Perl a plus).
