Logistics Manager Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery operations within the designated hub.

  • Last Mile Delivery Operations: We are seeking an experienced professional to manage the last mile delivery operations, focusing on optimized routes and timely deliveries.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead a team of skilled delivery bikers, providing guidance and support to ensure performance standards are met.
  • Address team issues, conflicts, and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement.

Cash Handling and Reconciliation:

  • Oversee cash handling operations, ensuring daily reconciliation of cash collected during deliveries.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track, monitor, and report on key metrics such as daily, weekly, and monthly delivery performance, return to origin (RTO), and other KPIs.
  • Implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics, with a focus on last-mile delivery operations, for junior logistics professionals, and 4-5 years of experience for senior logistics executives.
  • Prior experience in managing delivery bikers and cash reconciliation.
  • Strong knowledge of city routes and surrounding areas.
  • Hands-on experience with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of logistics metrics.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
