Job Overview

We seek a highly organized and experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team. As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient dispatching of goods, ensuring timely delivery, and managing a team of logistics personnel. This role is a full-time position and requires a mid-level candidate with 4 to 6 years of experience in logistics management.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics management, with at least 4 to 6 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in using logistics software and systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily logistics operations, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Allocate resources, including vehicles and personnel, to ensure optimal delivery routes and schedules.
  • Monitor the logistics team's performance and productivity, providing ongoing guidance and feedback.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and supply chain, to coordinate the logistics process and optimize efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including delivery details, vehicle performance, and personnel logs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including safety and transportation laws.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance logistics operations.
  • Resolve any delivery issues or customer complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Manage and motivate the logistics team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
