  • We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the implementation and maintenance of our Food Safety and Quality Management System.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory requirements, including Nepal DFTQC, Food & Drug administration, and Local government body.
  • This role requires a strong background in quality assurance, with experience in implementing and reviewing food safety systems.
  • The Quality Assurance Manager will also be responsible for conducting quality tests on raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
  • Maintaining two-way traceability of products is also a key responsibility of this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About the Role:

  • Implement and review Food Safety and Quality Management System.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct quality tests on raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
  • Maintain two-way traceability of products.
  • Implement and verify calibration programs for equipment.
  • Ensure storage conditions for raw materials, NABB, and final products.

  • Lead the development and implementation of quality management processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective quality control measures.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
