Job SummaryWe are looking for an exceptional Product Owner for our SaaS Software to take ownership of our product development lifecycle. In this role, you will act as the bridge between our Founder, customers, and cross-functional teams, ensuring that our product aligns with business goals, customer needs, and market trends. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, conducting competitor research, defining functional specifications, collaborating with designers and developers, and ensuring the final product meets the highest standards before release.

This role demands strong business analysis and research skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to think creatively while delivering results. Key ResponsibilitiesRequirement Gathering: Collaborate with the Founder and customers to identify business needs, pain points, and opportunities for product enhancement. Market Research: Conduct in-depth competitor analysis and stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the Quality and Food Safety Management industry to ensure Smart Food Safe remains a market leader.

Documentation: Document business requirements, user stories, and research findings clearly and comprehensively in Confluence for team alignment and reference. Functional Specifications: Translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements and create well-defined tasks in Jira for the development team. Design Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to create mockups and design intuitive, user-friendly screens that align with customer expectations.

Cross-Functional Communication: Effectively communicate requirements, priorities, and updates to developers, QA testers, designers, and the product marketing team to ensure seamless execution. Product Verification: Validate that the developed product meets the specified requirements and quality standards, signing off on features before release to customers. Ownership & Accountability: Take full ownership of the product development process, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.

Required Skills & QualificationsProven 2-4 experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in a SaaS-based product company. Strong business analysis and market research skills with a keen eye for identifying trends and opportunities. Proficiency in tools like Confluence (for documentation) and Jira (for task management).

Experience collaborating with designers to create mockups and UI/UX designs. Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to think outside the box, challenge the status quo, and propose innovative solutions.

A go-getter attitude with a willingness to step beyond your comfort zone to achieve results. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, customer-centric products. Familiarity with Quality and Food Safety Management or related industries is a plus.
