The Head of Quality Control plays a pivotal role in ensuring that food products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Systems Management: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality standards.
  2. Process Monitoring: Supervise the quality control team to monitor and evaluate production processes, ensuring consistency, safety, and adherence to quality protocols.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Maintain certifications and compliance with industry standards, such as ISO and BRC, and ensure proper documentation for internal and external audits.
  4. Catalyst for Change: Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency, working closely with R&D, production, and procurement teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in quality control, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control methods, and industry certifications.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
