Job Description:

The Culinary Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Directs and evaluates the performance of culinary staff members, providing coaching and guidance as needed.
  2. Coordinates and supervises the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  3. Develops and implements menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
  4. Manages inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  5. Conducts daily recipe reviews and maintains accurate records of menu items and production levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 8 years of experience in a commercial kitchen or culinary management role.
  2. Culinary degree or equivalent experience required.
  3. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct team members.
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  5. Intermediate computer software skills and knowledge of financial management principles.
