We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Commis 1 to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing authentic South Indian dishes, a strong understanding of ingredients and cooking techniques, and a dedication to maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Cooking - Prepare and cook a wide range of South Indian dishes as per the menu and guest preferences.
  • Team Collaboration - Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations.
  • Timely Service - Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards.
  • Kitchen Hygiene - Follow proper food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
  • Food Preparation - Assist with food prep, inventory, and mise-en-place for South Indian cuisine section.
  • Quality Control - Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork - Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Waste Management - Monitor and minimize food wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
