Job Role Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and efficiently managing patient registration and admission while maintaining confidentiality and safety.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Patient Admission: Assist patients in filling out and entering admission details into the Hospital Information System, counsel patients on hospital procedures, manage room bed inventory, handle VIP CIP admissions, and guide patients with TPA admissions.
  • Handling Queries: Address patient queries, direct patients to relevant departments, and manage the AHI mailbox to ensure timely communication.
  • Counseling for Surgery Procedure Patients: Verify patient admission status, provide procedure estimates, coordinate with nursing and PA teams for surgery schedules, ensure timely payments, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Daily Reporting: Generate and distribute daily MIS, bed census, and procedure lists, attaching interim bills to patient files to maintain accurate records.
  • Human Resources Support: Assist in inducting new staff members, address grievances, report system issues, suggest improvements, and ensure proper handover to maintain a smooth work environment.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Deliver efficient, friendly service, resolve patient interactions positively, treat patients and colleagues with sensitivity and transparency, and minimize waiting times to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
