Job Summary:We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Senior Executive / Team Leader to join our dynamic Admissions & Billing Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the patient admission process, including registration, verification of patient information, and completion of necessary documentation.
- Support the discharge process by coordinating with medical staff, preparing discharge summaries, and ensuring a smooth transition for patients.
- Learn to generate preliminary cost estimates for various medical procedures and services.
- Assist with cashier duties, including receiving payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate records.
- Gain understanding of hospital billing procedures, including the preparation and submission of bills.
- Learn to liaise with Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) for insurance-related queries and pre-authorization processes.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing their queries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient operations.
- Participate actively in training programs and seek opportunities for continuous learning and development.
- Be flexible to work in rotational shifts, including morning shifts (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM), evening shifts (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM) and Night Shifts.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in Hindi and/or Marathi would be an advantage.
- Basic computer proficiency, including knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts.
