Role & responsibilities

The Assistant Manager Front Office will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day front office and patient service operations to ensure smooth functioning of OPD, admissions, discharge, and overall patient experience. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating with clinical and non-clinical departments, and implementing service excellence initiatives in alignment with hospital standards.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Supervise and manage front office operations including OPD registration, billing, admission & discharge process, and enquiry desk.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between patients, doctors, nursing staff, and support teams to maintain a high standard of patient satisfaction.
  • Monitor daily operations across all floors and ensure adherence to hospital protocols and service standards.
  • Manage and guide front office executives, patient relation officers, and other support staff.
  • Handle patient grievances and resolve escalated service-related issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist in planning and implementing process improvements for better operational efficiency and patient flow.
  • Oversee and maintain accuracy of MIS reports related to patient registrations, admissions, and discharge summaries.
  • Conduct regular training and grooming sessions for front office teams to enhance communication and service quality.
  • Coordinate with IT, Finance, and Clinical departments for system and billing-related alignments.
