Job Opportunity: Quality Head for Manufacturing

To ensure the highest quality standards are met, we seek a skilled Quality Head to lead our manufacturing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS) tailored to biomass production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish, implement, and maintain a QMS aligned with relevant standards, such as ISO 9001 and ENplus.
  • Maintain proper documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality manuals.
  • Oversee laboratory testing of biomass properties and implement inspection procedures for raw materials.
  • Maintain compliance with domestic and international bioenergy standards, including ISO 17225 for solid biofuels.
  • Monitor environmental regulations and ensure biomass production does not exceed allowable CO2 emissions, particulate matter, or VOC levels.
  • Audit and qualify suppliers of feedstock and establish specifications and controls for incoming raw materials.
  • Evaluate product quality against customer specifications and third-party certification standards.
  • Track quality KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in quality management, preferably in the biomass industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and certifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
