Solar Project Sales Specialist

Are you a highly motivated and experienced sales professional looking to drive business development, client acquisition, and relationship management within the solar energy sector? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Solar Project Sales Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for solar projects in line with company objectives, identifying opportunities to expand our presence in the renewable energy market.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential leads and opportunities, staying up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Build strong networks with key decision-makers across government, commercial, and industrial sectors, fostering relationships that drive growth and revenue.
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations explaining solar energy solutions, highlighting their benefits and value proposition.
  • Assist in preparing accurate technical and financial proposals, collaborating closely with technical teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Support contract negotiations and finalize agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships through regular communication and post-sales support, addressing queries and resolving project-related issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery, tracking progress against timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor performance of completed projects and suggest areas for improvement, applying learnings to future initiatives.
  • Stay updated on solar technology, government policies, and renewable energy trends, representing our organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Any Graduate / BE / B.Tech (MBA preferred), demonstrating a solid foundation in business and industry principles.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of total experience with at least 2–3 years in solar/renewable energy project sales, showcasing a track record of success in this field.
  • Must have successfully executed a solar project of at least 500 kW (rooftop or ground-mounted), demonstrating expertise in project delivery and management.
  • Candidates from open access projects, channel sales, or inside sales will not be considered, as we seek individuals with direct experience in solar project sales.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in solar project sales, strong communication skills, and a passion for renewable energy, with a proven ability to drive business growth and revenue.
