Financial Modelling Professional

A highly skilled Financial Modelling Professional is required to develop and run comprehensive financial models for Solar PV and Energy Storage projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in building, developing, and running project finance-based financial models.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement financial models that accurately reflect the financial performance of Solar PV and Energy Storage projects.
  2. Evaluate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to populate assumptions and structure into the financial model used for bidding processes.
  3. Collaborate with various teams, including Development, Project Financing, Finance (Accounting and Tax), EPC, and others to populate assumptions and structure in the financial model.
  4. Support Development, EPC, and Financing teams in running case runs and scenarios to optimize economic benefits and analyze key drivers.
  5. Assist model auditors with the model audit process as needed.
  6. Support lenders with the financial model during project finance processes as needed.
  7. Maintain and update financial models pre and post financial close.
  8. Prepare presentations related to financial analysis.
  9. Train and supervise incoming junior modellers.
Requirements:
  1. A business, finance, or accounting degree from a reputable institution.
  2. At least 10 years of experience in building, developing, and running project finance-based financial models.
  3. At least 4-5 years of financial modelling experience in solar / renewable projects.
  4. Hands-on execution capability with a can-do attitude and strong passion for financial modelling.
  5. Ability to work in a team environment and engage in cross-functional collaboration.
  6. Recognized university degree - Bachelor or above.
