Maintenance Management Professional

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations within a facility. This includes supervising and coordinating activities related to engineering, electrical, and civil maintenance.

This role requires strong leadership skills with experience in team management and vendor coordination. The incumbent will work closely with the Operations Department to resolve technical issues related to equipment breakdowns and ensure smooth facility operations.

  • Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance strategies
  • Supervise maintenance activities for electrical, mechanical, and rail siding equipment
  • Manage spare part planning, monitoring, and technical confirmation
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • A Master's degree in a relevant discipline or certifications in Maintenance Management/Facilities Management is an asset

Skill Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and rail siding equipment maintenance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to plan and manage preventive maintenance and repair activities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and complex written information
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and vendor coordination
  • Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations and their application to maintenance
