Procurement Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to drive smooth procurement operations, optimize cost efficiency, and enhance supplier performance.

  • Source and procure raw materials, components, consumables, and tooling for manufacturing processes.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery performance.
  • Raise and monitor purchase orders aligned with production schedules and inventory levels.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.
  • Monitor market trends and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Collaborate with production, stores, quality, and finance teams to ensure end-to-end procurement alignment.
  • Maintain documentation for audits, vendor evaluations, and management reporting.
  • Support new product development (NPD) sourcing activities.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: MBA in Operations Management (Essential)
  • Experience: 3–4 years of hands-on procurement experience in an automotive ancillary or Tier 1 supplier environment
  • Skills: Strong negotiation and relationship management, Basic knowledge of ERP systems, Familiarity with automotive standards and documentation, Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
