We seek a seasoned leader to oversee the acquisition of sports accessories and activewear products.

The role involves curating product portfolios, sourcing innovative accessories for collections, and developing effective merchandising strategies.

1. Manage end-to-end product acquisition process for sports accessories
2. Develop and implement merchandising plans to drive sales growth
3. Analyze market trends and capitalize on opportunities to increase market share
4. Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and ensure high-quality products
5. Evaluate market data and sales performance to inform strategic decisions
6. Collaborate with design teams to develop new product lines
7. Optimize inventory levels and forecast demand to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and product quality standards
9. Conduct competitor analysis and market research to stay ahead of the competition
10. Lead and mentor the product acquisition team to achieve business objectives

1. NIFT graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field
2. Minimum 7 years of experience in the sports/activewear industry
3. Proven track record of success in product acquisition and merchandising
4. Strong understanding of domestic and international supplier networks
5. Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
6. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications
7. Effective communication and leadership skills
