The successful candidate will monitor the current state of BCMS, identify gaps, and develop capabilities to bridge those gaps, while overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the BCM program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement business continuity strategies and plans that align with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and assess the BCMS to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including ISO 22301 and NCEMA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BCM into business operations and risk management.
- Provide guidance and support to staff and vendors on BCM practices and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the effectiveness of the BCMS.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff awareness and capabilities in BCM.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business Administration or Risk Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in BCM or related roles.
- Professional certification in Business Continuity Management (BCM).
- Strong understanding of organizational risk maturity and relevant risk management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and Arabic.
- Solid background in Information Technology (IT) and project management.
