Job Overview: Senior Business Intelligence Solutions Developer
We are seeking an experienced BI & Visualization Developer to join our Analytics Practice. This role requires a broad range of skills and the ability to adapt to different project environments. The primary responsibility is to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Reports and Dashboards: Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and clients to understand needs and requirements. Develop visualizations to meet their needs.
- Support New and Existing Applications: Provide guidance on best practices and lead projects to implement new functionality.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Visualization Trends: Learn and develop new visualization techniques to keep up with contemporary design and presentation.
- Review Solution Requirements: Ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources, and integration of multiple systems and technology.
- Collaborate in Design Reviews: Ensure standards are met and recommend new standards for visualizations.
- Build and Reuse Templates/Components/Web Services: Create reusable templates/components/web services across multiple dashboards.
- Present to Customers and Partners: Support presentations to customers and partners.
- Mentor Associates: Advise on new technology trends and possible adoption to maintain competitive advantage.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 8+ Years of Related Experience: In-depth knowledge of data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview, etc.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Related Discipline: Strong SQL coding experience with performance optimization experience for data queries.
- Understanding of Data Models: Normalized, denormalized, star, and snowflake models.
- Big Data Environments Experience: Cloud data stores, RDBMS, and OLAP solutions.
- ETL Experience Preferred: Prior experience with application delivery using an Onshore/Offshore model.
- Strong Technical Background: Evergreen with technology and industry developments.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
