Job Title: Channel Relationship Manager
DBS Bank is seeking an experienced Channel Relationship Manager to join our Corporate Banking team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new-to-bank customers and growing our liabilities portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source new business opportunities through cold calling, personal networks, and partnerships.
- Drive liabilities sales through the acquisition of new liabilities clients for operating accounts, term deposits, and other transaction banking products.
- Stay up-to-date on various offerings available in the network.
- Organize marketing activities to generate leads and new business.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in banking or a related field.
- Good understanding of the sales process and ability to recommend the right solutions based on customers' needs.
- Market knowledge and experience in the Mid-market / SME segment.
Education:
A graduate degree or equivalent, with experience or understanding of banking and sales.
Core Competencies:
- Customer-centric approach.
- Good technical knowledge of cash management/transaction banking business.
- Good team worker.
- Good customer and relationship management skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Technical Competencies:
- Basic understanding of trade and foreign exchange banking products and associated technology platforms.
- Understanding of regulatory guidelines on banking issued by MAS and by RBI (local regulations in India).
- Knowledge of financial markets and products to assist in meaningful dialogue with clients.
Work Relationship:
- Good working relationship with the relationship group and service partners in the bank.
- Establish rapport with clients to win their business, confidence, and trust.
