Job Overview

Our organization is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and value in our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sourcing of indirect spend categories with spend range up to £500k.
  2. Drafting and negotiating contracts to drive the preparation of proposal documents, statement of works (SOWs), quotations, and bids with pertinent specifications, terms, and conditions attached.
  3. Using pre-approved legal templates to produce NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements), Call Off agreements, and contract amendments/renewals.
  4. Developing, reviewing, negotiating, and executing complex business agreements and contracts as needed.
  5. Applying appropriate procurement approaches in negotiations, independently preparing and leading negotiations to conclusion.
  6. Supplier evaluation, selection, and setup of ongoing performance management.
  7. Rating and handling supplier performance, ensuring supplier performance of all contracts.
  8. Liaising with partners to understand their requirements and closing them within the given timeframe.
  9. Performing spend and market analysis to identify the best available market price for ongoing projects/services.
  10. Ensuring timely deliveries, customer satisfaction, and savings targets within contractual SLAs/critical metrics.
  11. Participating in regular reviews with category managers and heads of procurement and their sourcing managers to ensure strategies are aligned and pipeline activity is proceeding.
  12. Carrying out reporting requirements accurately and within specified time scales as needed.
  13. Developing relationships with suppliers, coordinating, reviewing, and responding to supplier inquiries, protests, and appeals.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Graduate degree in any stream.
  • Procurement experience demonstrating a proven track record of delivery of successful sourcing projects.
  • Confirmed category expertise with completed moderately complex sourcing strategies or 2-3 complex sourcing strategies bringing measurably improved results.
  • Category experience required in IT (Software, Hardware, Networks & Infrastructure, Data Centre) Telco, Marketing, HR Services, Professional Services, Travel, CRE, Facilities Management, Dental, and Medical.
  • Oral and written proficiency in English (additional languages preferred).
  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification within Business Management, Procurement, and/or Supply Chain management.
