Our organization is seeking a senior engineer to lead the development and delivery of drainage projects through various stages of the design process. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading project teams, preparing designs, and technical checking.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams and prepare designs in accordance with standards and protocols
  • Technical checking and design reviews
  • Mentoring and guiding junior staff
  • Manage project scopes, fees, and team utilisation
  • Work closely with Team Leads to set out developmental goals and secure projects
  • Engage with regional leads and improve team utilisation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience within a consultancy environment
  • Proven track record of dealing with Clients and forging effective relationships
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working to UK standards and proficient in AutoCAD, Microstation & Civil3D
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer within 1-2 years

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Civil Engineering/Environmental/Water Resources Engineering
