We are seeking an experienced Design Lead to join our Solar project team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for reviewing and executing engineering activities related to civil and structural engineering of solar PV power plants.
The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise in engineering activities for civil and structural covering control room buildings, transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations, inverter rooms, grading, roads and drainage, outdoor steel structures and miscellaneous works related to solar power plant.
You will be required to review vendor engineering documents with respect to civil and structural design, ensure compliance with contractual technical requirements, and facilitate project teams as needed.
Key responsibilities include timely delivery of engineering drawings and documents, ensuring deliveries align with project schedule, reviewing designs by design engineers and draughts persons, checking of design and sizing calculations of engineering electrical equipment, obtaining approvals from clients, and coordinating with multiple disciplines for inter-departmental checks.
