Solar PV Design and Project Management Lead

As a senior professional, you will oversee the entire design process for solar power plants, ensuring timely completion of projects while meeting technical specifications.

This role involves managing project lifecycles from conceptualization to execution. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to industry standards.

  • Project Management: Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Design and Compliance: Develop and review design plans, specifications, and construction documents to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to define project requirements, present design solutions, and address concerns.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest innovations and trends in solar PV design, conduct feasibility studies, and implement best practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes, conduct design audits, and resolve design-related issues during project implementation.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure 90% of project designs are completed within the scheduled timeline, achieve client satisfaction scores of 85%, deliver 95% of projects without major overruns, maintain 98% compliance rate with statutory requirements, and achieve a 95% pass rate in design audits.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, minimum 10 years' experience in solar PV design and project management, proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, Sketchup, and Helioscope.

Preferred Skills: 18+ years of experience in design and engineering, ability to optimize designs to meet client requirements, strong understanding of electrical drawings and OEM supply documents, effective communication with various teams and agencies involved in solar PV projects.
