Head of Internal Audit

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our internal audit function. This is a pivotal role that plays a critical part in safeguarding the company's financial integrity and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of financial, operational, and compliance audits.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the internal audit team.
  • Identify and assess areas of financial and operational risk.
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with management to implement and monitor risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, procedures, and applicable statutory/regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards, and assess their impact on business practices.
  • Presentation of audit findings, insights, and actionable recommendations to senior management and the audit committee.
  • Development and delivery of periodic audit reports and dashboards.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing audit team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional departments to ensure transparency and control across operations.
