Job Summary

Main Responsibilities
  • Technology Infrastructure Management:
    • Design, deploy, and optimize the hotel's IT infrastructure, encompassing hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications.
    • Evaluate and enhance the performance, reliability, and security of IT systems.
    • Maintain control over IT budgets and procurement processes.
  • Strategic Technology Planning:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the hotel's business objectives.
    • Cultivate knowledge of emerging technologies to boost operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
    • Stay current on industry trends and best practices.
  • Project Execution:
    • Oversee IT-related projects, including system deployments, upgrades, and integrations.
    • Manage project timelines, resources, and costs effectively.
  • IT Support Services:
    • Provide technical assistance to hotel staff and guests.
    • Lead the IT support team and ensure timely resolution of IT issues.
    • Create and implement IT support procedures and documentation.
  • Data Security Protocols:
    • Implement and maintain robust data security measures to safeguard sensitive guest and hotel information.
    • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
    • Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Guide and develop the IT team.
    • Establish clear goals and performance expectations.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the hospitality sector.
  • Strong expertise in network infrastructure, hardware, software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage IT projects and budgets efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with property management systems (PMS) and other hospitality-specific software.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and visualization technologies.
  • Experience in implementing IT systems in a multi-site setting.
