Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Database Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing databases that meet the needs of our organization.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the integrity and performance of our databases, as well as providing support to other teams who rely on them. You will work closely with our development team to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Design and Implementation: Design and implement databases using SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB to meet business requirements.
  • Database Maintenance: Ensure databases are properly maintained, including backups and restores, to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.
  • Deployment Management: Manage deployments and ensure best practices are followed to maintain database health and performance.
  • Security Collaboration: Work with our security team to ensure database security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Migration Support: Assist with database migrations between servers and versions to minimize downtime and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with databases to ensure minimal impact on business operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ Years of Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a DBA or similar role, with a focus on SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Database Expertise: Excellent knowledge of database administration, design, and maintenance for SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues.
