Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Management Specialist to oversee the administration of our distributed search systems, in-memory databases, and graph databases. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data management, schema planning, and data modeling for distributed search, in-memory, and graph-based systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Optimize cluster performance and ensure high availability.
  • Tune data distribution, sharding, caching, and graph traversals for efficient query performance.
  • Design schemas and data models for search, caching, and graph-based use cases.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting to detect performance issues.
  • Evaluate and implement DevOps tools for automation and scaling.
  • Solve real-time issues in production systems.
  • Collaborate with development teams for application integration.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years managing AWS OpenSearch or Elasticsearch in production.
  • 2+ years managing in-memory databases or graph databases.
  • Proven track record with critical production systems impacting revenue.
  • Expertise in data and index shard management, caching strategies, and node-relationship modeling.
  • Strong experience in schema design and data modeling for search, caching, and graph use cases.
