Job Role & Responsibilities:

As a key member of the Quotient Consultancy team, the Branch Manager will be responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of a full-service branch office.

Key responsibilities include lending, product sales, customer service, and security and safety in accordance with the bank's objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of revenue generation in terms of brokerage for the branch, with a focus on achieving branch income and managing profitability.

They will also be responsible for enhancing and contributing to the growth of the company through business development.

Strong customer relations skills are essential, with a focus on promoting a sales and service culture through coaching, guidance, and staff motivation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving individual and branch sales goals through new business sales, referrals, and retention of account relationships.

They will also maintain an Annual Operating Plan for the financial year, preparing and tracking product-wise targets.

Cross-selling products with new and existing customers is a key aspect of this role, as well as conducting daily morning huddles to discuss daily plans and agendas for employees.

Reporting and tracking inflow and outflow of reports, such as account closures, account openings, and Fixed Deposit renewals, is also essential.

The Branch Manager will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships through sourcing and onboarding processes.

Segmenting customers within the branch's catchment area to increase the Journal-Ledger base is also a key responsibility.

Liaising with product management teams, marketing, and other centers and verticals for new product development, service enhancements, sales initiatives, and branch hygiene is also necessary.

Key Skills & Abilities:

Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to effectively resolve customer and employee issues are essential.

The ideal candidate will be able to balance team and individual responsibilities, building morale and commitment to goals and objectives.

Strong supervisory and leadership skills are required to manage, motivate, and develop employees.

Confidentiality and customer privacy must be upheld in all situations.

The successful candidate will proactively seek solutions that benefit the customer and the bank, exhibiting sound and accurate judgment.

Job Requirements:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in banking, with at least 3 years in retail liabilities, is required.

Sales experience and exposure, preferably in liabilities products, is a must.

In-depth understanding of financial instruments, markets, and macro-microeconomic processes is essential.

Proven business development skills and prior managerial experience are preferred.
