PLM Consultant Role Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data migration, technical documentation, and workflow development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Migration: Migrate data into ARAS OnePDM for Microsoft devices and integrate with TeamCenter and PDM2.
  • Automated Data Imports: Develop bulk Excel import files into project applications and databases using console applications. Import files into Database using SSIS packages and run SQL scripts for data enhancement.
  • Document Management: Manage various types of documents in ARAS PLM, including customizations, workflows, lifecycle, and permission development. Develop PDECO workflows for different PDs and workflow types.
  • Technical Documentation Development: Create XML Schema and CSS for technical documents to enable the technical writers' team to create documents in ARAS tool and publish them in XML, PDF, or HTML format.
  • Data Modelling and Simulation: Create data models for 1GW Rules Engine and 1P Tactic projects. Interact with CoreDef and CoreAll datasources using Microservices APIs, involving various customizations. Work on MassDM application deployment.
  • Implementation and Reporting: Implement ARAS CICD pipeline for deployment. Utilize SQL Reports using Report Builder to create RDL files. Worked on Epic Year End process, involving phases 1-4. Produce downstream reports.
