
Business Development Manager

The successful candidate will work closely with the Business Manager, Technical Director, and Account Manager to manage the end-to-end bid process from qualification to contract award.
- Collaborate with Technical Direction and Business Organizations on pre-sales activities.
- Ensure offers and project references are ready for submission.
- Anticipate and address potential risks associated with major RFI/RFPs.
- Support coordination and develop action plans for major RFI/RFPs.
- Contribute to new business strategy and development.
- Prepare documents required for bids.
- Manage the bid process.
- Support the Business Manager and Technical Director in utilizing the CRM tool during the bid process.
- Qualify businesses and strategies to answer customer requests.
- Organize and attend Go/NoGo meetings to determine whether to proceed with a bid or not.
- Maximize the value of the offer by ensuring that group offers are best used.
- Coordinate the bid team (technical, business, legal, quality, center of expertise, partners).
- Check the quality of offers and financial forms prior to review.
- Store information on the CRM tool.
- Organize and attend offer reviews.
- Analyze lessons learned from each completed transaction.
- Identify and alert potential risks for each bid as required.
- Perform transversal activities and capitalize best practices.
- Issue KPIs from the CRM tool and ensure data accuracy.
- Provide regular reporting to Management, BU, TD, and Pre-Sales Head.
- Monitor adherence to the bid process and alert if not respected.
- Analyze bid process maturity by Business Unit and define action plans.
- Perform analysis for each semester to determine the main reason for win or lose.
- Capture and reuse best practices offers and templates to maximize win rate.
- Explain and enforce the BID process method and tools.
