Front Desk Receptionist Job Description

About the Role: We're seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at May I Help You.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and Welcoming: Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Reception Area Management: Manage the reception area by keeping it clean and organized.
  • Telephone Management: Answer and redirect phone calls to the appropriate department.
  • Information Provision: Provide information to visitors and employees in a clear and concise manner.
  • Mail and Package Handling: Sort and distribute mail and packages.
  • Meeting Room Bookings: Manage meeting room bookings and assist with scheduling appointments.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scanning documents.
  • Office Supplies Inventory: Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
  • Security: Ensure security by following procedures and controlling access.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and resolve any complaints in a professional manner.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Proficient in using telecommunications systems and office equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic office management tasks.
  • Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
