Equity Market Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Equity Market Professional to join our team. As an Equity Market Professional, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with high-value clients in the equity trading and investment services market.

You will work closely with senior management to achieve revenue targets through equity broking, value-added schemes, and third-party product sales. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong analytical ability to interpret market trends and provide insights to clients.

About the Role:

  1. Client Acquisition & Onboarding:
    • Identify and acquire new clients for equity trading and investment services.
    • Build a strong network to generate leads and convert prospects into active clients.
    • Facilitate seamless onboarding with proper documentation and KYC compliance.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Nurture long-term relationships with retail and HNI clients.
    • Understand clients' financial goals, risk appetite, and investment needs to provide customized solutions.
    • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and suggest timely adjustments.
  3. Equity Market Advisory & Execution:
    • Provide expert advice on equity investments, market opportunities, and trading strategies.
    • Ensure accurate and timely execution of trades.
    • Cross-sell and up-sell additional financial products such as mutual funds, bonds, and derivatives.
  4. Revenue Generation:
    • Achieve individual revenue targets through equity broking, value-added schemes, and third-party product sales.
    • Drive client activity levels to meet brokerage and sales objectives.
    • Explore cross-selling opportunities to maximize wallet share.
  5. Market Awareness & Research:
    • Stay updated on equity markets, economic developments, and corporate actions.
    • Share insights and proactively guide clients on portfolio strategies.
    • Contribute inputs for internal market reports and strategy development.
  6. Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Maintain regulatory requirements (SEBI, NSE/BSE, etc.).
    • Educate clients about market risks and ensure investments are aligned with their risk profile.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or Economics.
  • 2–5 years of experience in equity markets, wealth management, or related roles.

Skills:

  1. In-depth knowledge of equity markets, investment products, and trading strategies.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Strong analytical ability to interpret market trends and provide insights.
  4. Proficiency in trading platforms and CRM tools.
