Internal Audit Professional

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill this challenging role at our company. As an Internal Auditor, your primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions, identifying potential risks, and recommending control measures.

The role involves conducting concurrent audits to monitor compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting real-time audits of operational activities to ensure adherence to established procedures
  • Identifying and reporting deviations, irregularities, or non-compliance with established procedures or regulatory requirements
  • Assessing the effectiveness of internal controls and making recommendations for improvements to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency
  • Reviewing financial data to ensure compliance with legal policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Preparing comprehensive audit reports, including findings, observations, and recommendations, and presenting them to management and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in law, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (LLB/ CA- Inter/MBA preferred)
  • Proven experience as an Auditor, preferably in finance, with a focus on concurrent auditing
  • Familiarity with accounting principles, internal controls, and auditing standards
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to prepare clear and concise audit reports and present findings to various stakeholders
  • Proficient in using data analysis tools and MS Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits while adhering to deadlines
  • Ethical conduct and the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
