Job Overview:

The role of Credit Risk Specialist is crucial in the development and implementation of credit risk models to ensure effective management of portfolio risk.

  • Development of predictive credit risk models that accurately assess potential losses across the lending life cycle.
  • Implementation and monitoring of credit risk strategies to maintain a balanced risk appetite.
  • Regular review of portfolio performance using data-driven metrics to identify early warning signals.
  • Review and update risk policies to reflect changing market conditions and internal risk tolerance.
  • Analysis of industry trends and preparation of MIS/Dashboards to present insights to senior management.
  • Assessment of risk policies and controls to ensure adherence and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration with internal teams to strengthen the risk framework and mitigate potential risks.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum 3-6 years of experience in managing risk in a financial services environment.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL programming, with a focus on statistical modeling and data analysis.
  • Excellent data interpretation and analytical skills to drive business decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical models and data visualization techniques.
  • Experience in credit risk management will be an added advantage.
