Seeking an accomplished Senior Database Administrator to lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-level Oracle database environments.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with 18+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Exadata, cloud database platforms, performance tuning, and handling of Very Large Databases (VLDB).

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, implementing, and managing high-availability Oracle environments using RAC and Data Guard
  • Administering and maintaining Oracle Exadata systems, including patching, monitoring, resource management, and performance tuning
  • Leading Oracle database migrations to cloud platforms, including backup and disaster recovery strategy planning
  • Performing advanced SQL and database performance tuning, query optimization, and system diagnostics
  • Planning and executing patching and upgrade activities, including major version upgrades
  • Ensuring database security, integrity, and compliance with corporate standards and policies
  • Automating routine DBA tasks using shell scripting, PL/SQL, or tools like Ansible
Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 18+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Oracle Exadata, Oracle ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, cloud platforms, performance tuning, PL/SQL development, and automation scripting
  • Proficiency with UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting
  • Good knowledge of OEM and its use
