Job Title: Senior SQL Database Administrator
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior-level database administrator to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of our Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain high-performing Microsoft SQL Server databases using best practices.
- Develop and execute scripts to automate database tasks, such as backups, updates, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues.
- Analyze database performance metrics to optimize system configuration and improve overall efficiency.
- Migrate databases to Azure SQL deployments and ensure seamless transitions.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in SQL Server DBA roles, with expertise in T-SQL, PowerShell scripting, and SQL Server automation tasks.
- Hands-on experience with Azure SQL deployments and migrations.
- Strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and security.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
