Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our database administration group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance databases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in database administration, with a strong focus on Oracle Database administration.
  • Extensive knowledge of Oracle Database architecture, including 12c and 19c.
  • Proficiency in backup and recovery using RMAN and Data Pump.
  • Strong performance tuning skills, with the ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Excellent issue troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) skills.
  • Ability to manage instance parameters and configurations.
  • Experience with Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Automatic Storage Management (ASM).
  • Familiarity with Data Guard, Standby, and Multi-Area Architecture (MAA).
  • Strong installation, upgrade, migration, and patching skills.
  • Ability to create and manage scripts and automation processes.
  • 24/7 support and maintenance responsibilities.
