Migrate Email Security Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a skilled specialist to lead the decommissioning of our existing email security firewall and implement Microsoft Defender for Office 365.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with email security platforms, Microsoft 365 security tools, and a strong understanding of secure email gateway configurations and migrations.

  • Plan and execute the retirement of the email security firewall.
  • Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender for Office 365 features, including anti-phishing, anti-malware, and threat investigation tools.
  • Ensure a smooth transition with minimal business disruption.
  • Document the migration process and provide technical knowledge transfer to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to align configurations with organizational policies.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to mail flow, filtering, and user access during and after the migration.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience with email security gateways and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Exchange Online Protection (EOP).
  • Familiarity with secure email protocols, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and threat detection tools.
  • Experience managing or supporting email migration projects.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
