We are seeking a Data Hiring Manager to oversee the recruitment of strategic talent in the field of data analytics. This role will involve developing and implementing effective hiring strategies, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to source and recruit top candidates.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, with experience in team management and recruitment. They will be able to motivate and inspire others, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment is essential.
Main Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement effective hiring strategies to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify and recruit top talent.
- Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of recruiters, providing guidance and support to ensure success.
- Set clear goals and expectations for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Recruitment Deliverables:
- Recruit and hire high-quality candidates using multiple channels - agencies, job boards, referrals, campaigns basis generic, niche, and super-niche skills.
- Provide regular recruitment status reports and communications to senior leadership and key business partners.
- Process Adherence and Efficiency:
- Ensure process adherence and develop checks and balances to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Continuously evaluate and improve hiring practices, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to understand requirements and provide required insights.
- Act as a point of contact for hiring inquiries and needs, addressing concerns and providing timely updates.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs within the team and develop appropriate training programs.
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members, fostering their professional growth.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of overall experience, 3+ years of experience in data analytics hiring (particularly Actuarials, Catastrophic roles) and some understanding of analytics front (catastrophic modeling, etc).
- Strong knowledge of recruitment principles, practices, and tools for data analytics hiring.
- Proficiency in data analysis and finding trends.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment.
