Job Description

The HR Manager plays a pivotal role in spearheading the human resources function for Quality & Operations functions at our manufacturing site.

This senior position involves providing strategic business partnership to the Site Leadership team, developing and implementing human resources strategy and policy in support of business objectives.

  • Strategic HR Partner: Plan, implement, and evaluate employee relations and human resource programs and practices. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs and align people strategy.
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Ensure timely provision of a talented workforce to ensure business continuity. Identify manpower requirements, plan budgets, and hiring processes. Deliver best-in-class onboarding experiences.
  • HR Manpower Planning and Budgeting: Assist in budgeting processes for HR items and headcount requirements. Review actual spend versus approved budgets and trend analysis to ensure costs are within budget.
  • Performance Management: Drive continuous performance management and annual compensation reviews. Train line managers on goal setting and performance feedback.
  • Talent Management: Implement talent reviews and develop/retain plans. Create succession plans for critical roles and identify development needs.
  • Learning and Development: Promote a culture of learning and high performance. Identify training needs and prepare training calendars.
  • HR Compliance and Statutory Obligations: Ensure HR legal compliance by monitoring applicable laws and maintaining records.
  • Labour Management: Maintain harmonious and productive industrial relations environments. Ensure statutory compliances are followed by manpower vendors.
  • Employee Engagement and Wellbeing: Implement initiatives to impact key drivers of employee engagement. Lead wellbeing initiatives to achieve holistic wellbeing of employees.
  • HR Operations: Supervise and review HR operations related to the employee lifecycle. Streamline and bring efficiency to HR processes.
