Job Description

The Head Electrical Maintenance position is responsible for leading electrical maintenance activities in the plant. This involves developing and implementing maintenance programs, conducting performance examinations, and providing recommendations to enhance maintainability, reliability, and minimize maintenance costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Maintenance Planning:
    • Develops and implements detailed maintenance procedures and practices to ensure safe and efficient execution of activities.
    • Ensures timely implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance activities to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
    • Monitors electronic and hard copy records for all equipment, and conducts regular condition monitoring surveys to identify potential issues.
  • Leadership:
    • Liaises with other departments to coordinate inter-discipline work activities and plan shutdowns, overhauls, and other maintenance planning activities.
    • Evaluates requirements for new equipment or major repairs, and recommends alternatives to optimize consumption.
    • Ensures no material shortage at any point in time, and verifies delivered materials meet required standards and specifications.
  • Safety and Quality:
    • Ensures daily 5S activities are conducted on the shop floor.
    • Enforces use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment among employees working inside the plant premises.
    • Conducts PEP talks and TBT sessions before operational or maintenance activities start.
