We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage the front office at our hospital. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage patient registration, ensuring accurate collection and verification of patient demographics, insurance details, and relevant medical history.
- Guide patients through necessary forms and obtain required signatures and consents, adhering to hospital policies and legal requirements.
- Accurately enter and update patient information in the hospital's Electronic Health Record system, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
- Explain hospital procedures, policies, and patient rights clearly and courteously.
- Prepare and issue patient identification cards, bands, and ensure correct application.
- Handle appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations efficiently via phone, in-person, and online portals.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date appointment schedules, optimizing doctor availability and patient convenience.
- Provide patients with clear pre-appointment instructions, including required documents and preparation guidelines, if any.
- Coordinate appointments and follow-ups across different specialties and departments within the hospital.
- Send appointment reminders to patients through various communication channels.
- Any Degree qualification.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in a front office or customer service role.
- Excellent MS Excel knowledge.
- Aptitude skills.
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations, as well as maintaining the highest level of patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA or relevant Indian healthcare regulations and hospital guidelines.
