
Sales Development Manager

The ideal candidate will take charge of our Water & Waste Water segment by defining and executing sales & marketing strategies for Low Voltage Variable Frequency Drives (LV VFDs) and related solutions. This includes driving growth through OEMs, panel builders, EPCs, and end-users while ensuring strong customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & implement sales/marketing strategies for WWW applications using ABB's Motion Drive Products (LV VFDs, drive panels, services).
- Achieve sales, order intake & profitability targets in line with business goals.
- Build senior-level relationships with customers, OEMs, panel builders, and EPCs.
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings & opportunities to expand our presence.
- Lead business development – new OEM/customer conversions & strengthening channel partner network.
- Manage risks in contracts, pricing & customer agreements.
- Promote our solutions via exhibitions, seminars & case studies.
- Ensure sales funnel data quality & deliver regular performance updates.
Qualifications:
- BE/BTech (Electrical/EEE or related).
- 8+ years' experience in: Front-end sales & business development of VFDs / drive systems, Channel partner & OEM engagement (panel builders, system integrators), Segment sales in infrastructure/utilities (Water & Waste Water)
