Job Opportunity: Corporate Counsel

The position of Corporate Counsel is a key role within the Legal Department, requiring diverse legal skills to provide expert solutions to business challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and mitigate risk and compliance issues by collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on reviewing and drafting policies, procedures, and guidelines related to regulatory compliance.
  • Advise on data protection and privacy legislation, including the EU GDPR.
  • Support cyber security compliance and risk management by advising on disclosure requirements and interacting with external vendors.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with immigration laws in various regions, including review of policy documents and requirements for business travel and work visa regulations.
Qualifications:
  • LLB/LLM degree along with relevant experience as a compliance counsel, preferably in multinational corporations.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, including those related to Data Privacy, Cyber Security, Immigration, and Mobility.
  • Independent project management skills, including interaction with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and support review and audit exercises in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capacity to independently solve moderately complex issues with supervision as needed.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.
