Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the company's dynamic food service and developing/maintaining relationships with food service institutions at all levels.
- Managing individual expenses within budget guidelines.
- Maintaining ongoing relationships with customers and driving conversations to inform them about new developments in our products.
- Developing quotes and proposals.
- Negotiating by phone, email, and in person, being comfortable with legal documents.
- Attending client meetings, food committee meetings, and other events related to clients.
- Maintaining effective, professional relationships with customers, vendors, and fellow employees.
- Administering unit operations in accordance with our standards, handling contract specifications, and statutory regulations.
- Overseeing the overall resourceful management of the unit, providing great quality food services, and healthy partner management.
- Ensuring economic and efficient utilization of resources, including utilities, people, and technology.
- Analyzing and helping on-site/off-site partners manage effectively.
- Communicating regularly with clients to stay updated on operational activities and happenings.
- Completing action plans following client satisfaction surveys and audits.
- Ensuring all products are correctly priced according to client agreements and specifications.
- Completing manpower schedules within the budget and adjusting labor schedules in line with sales.
- Ensuring site adherence to safety standards as per Service Level Agreements.
Requirements:
- Experience in the food industry is required.
- A strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability as a self-starter and independent decision-maker.
- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on any tasks to support team efforts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Solid knowledge and experience in working with food, technology, and leveraging people.
- Results-oriented, accountable, and holds others accountable.
- Proven experience in managing successful teams in a similar environment.
- Basic Food Hygiene certificate and knowledge of HSEQ standards.
- Excellent financial and application acumen.
- Self-motivated, agile, and able to adapt to changing environments.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
- Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management discipline.
