This role involves the development and integration of scalable code utilizing Oracle Fusion Application technologies, with a specialization in Supply Chain management.
The successful candidate will develop and deliver applications that meet customer expectations by creating platform-as-a-service (PaaS) supply chain extensions using Oracle Fusion Technology stack.
Additionally, this role requires the integration of software such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), MuleSoft, AWS API Management, Rest API, or equivalent middleware solutions.
Key responsibilities include architecting, building, and delivering products that meet customer requirements through the design and implementation of scalable and maintainable code.
The role also involves overseeing the design, implementation, unit testing, performance, and monitoring of team solutions.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will provide assistance and guidance on application security architecture supporting the applications.
Quality is ensured through design reviews, code reviews, and the development of standards.
The role also includes mentoring team members by demonstrating alternate techniques, reviewing code, and strengthening skills.
Research and recommendations for appropriate application development best practices and tools are also required.
Lastly, new functionality will be developed on existing software products, and development support and assistance will be provided for escalations and issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience developing Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Planning, Inventory, BOM, Costing, Production Controls, and discrete and process manufacturing.
- Strong software development skills in detailed application design, database design, object-oriented concepts, and Abstraction/Dependency Injection patterns.
- Experience integrating applications with integration software such as OIC, MuleSoft, AWS API Management, Rest API, or equivalent middleware solutions.
- Deep experience with relational database development using Oracle database technologies and services, SQL queries, NoSQL.
- Experience with Draw.IO or other design tools.
- Strong focus on testing during development.
- Experience with CI/CD.
- Experience with JIRA or comparable tool.
- Passionate about exploring new technologies.
- Knowledge of application server configurations, memory/connection management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound technical decisions.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
